Fan rattles due to faulity screw design!

The screw that holds the blade to the shaft of the motor does not stay in place. When you turn the fan on it will run normally for about 5 seconds and then the screw will loosen and it will start rattling on the underside of the fan. There is no real way to completely tighten the screw.

18” kichler wall mounted outdoor fan.

Installed outside under a covered deck. Easy to install. Plenty of air movement. Fans are heavy duty. Easy to adjust including rotating down slightly. GFI plug is rather large. Could not find an elongated cover to protect connection so I had to enlarge bottom opening of cover so plug was covered and lid would close.

Solid fan

Easy to install but had to get new screws to install in concrete block. The included screws were for wood. Overall fan works great and provides some mush needed shade to the backyard in sunny and humid south Florida.

Worth the price!

We purchased and installed 2 of the satin natural bronze fans under our deck at our lake house. They are heavy, but easy to install. The fans adjust in all directions and they oscillate if you wish. They are quite and spread the air nicely on all 3 speeds. A far cry from the 3 floor box fans that walked on the concrete and were loud but produced little air flow. We highly recommend these great fans.

Great outdoor fan.

The air blows well and can cover a large outdoor area. The CFM is the best I found for the look. You cannot go wrong with this one!

Does not tilt down

Very heavy and well made. Had to put it all together. We expected the fan to come in one piece. Does not tilt down my husband had to drill another hole in order to tilt the fan down on our porch since we have it high on the wall.

Not a hardwire fan

The fan is not HARDWIRE as it says. It is very sturdy and heavy but definitely not hardwired. I had to return it because of that.

You get what you pay for.

I purchased 18 in model. This fan is worth the extra money. No regrets. Durable, quiet, and puts a nice breeze wherever you’d like. Kept a very hot and windless day comfortable for the family bbq. My porch 10x15. The one downside is that the cord is only 6ft but that was not an issue for me.

NOT hardwired as described

This is a great looking, sturdy, high quality fan but I only gave it 3 stars because the description says that it is "hardwired" and it is not. I was specifically looking for an outdoor wall fan that connects directly to a junction box and this one does not so I had to return it.
