Ship to the store if it’s convenient
We cannot rate the fan as we have not received the downrod to enable installation. The 2 packages were supposed to arrive the same day. We are still awaiting the downrod 8 days later and may need to reschedule an electrician again!

Loews does not stock appropriate parts for fans
This fan did not meet our requirements. We purchased extension rods for our 14 foot ceilings from Loews retail store. The electrician was ready to install the motor but found that the extension rods were not threaded at both ends. We brought the rods back to Loews. Not in stock in store or on the website. We brought back the fans. Now we have a bill from the electrician and no fans. Looking at another store to purchase fans.

Great fixture, questionable switch design
I have owned ceiling fans in my home for many years, use them extensively and finally had to replace one. I chose this Kichler based upon the manufacture’s outstanding reputation. I had the fan installed professionally by a reputable electrician. The fan looks amazing, is a great light source in this medium sized bedroom.
