I did not get the product although the website sais it was in.

Close enough in color with threading

Bought this downrod to go on my Fanimation Slinger II on my lanai. As it is going outside and I live in Florida, I wanted to make sure that I got the Stainless Steel rod to combat corrosion. While not matching perfectly in color (the "Brushed Nickel" downrod has a slightly Satin finish), it does come closer to matching when compared to the Fanimation downrod. no fan then don't need downrod

fan order was cancelled by Lowes after a couple days. Lowes still sent downrod. ?

Quality product

This was a perfect fit for the ceiling fan we ordered. My only suggestion is that the picture for this product does not reflect the correct color, so I was hesitant to order it because I didn't know if it would match the fan.

I purchased a Big A-- fan , 84 inches and the web sight shows this downrod as part of what was usually purchased with it . I purchased it to my disappointment i found out that this download in no way can be used with my fan. It is a fraction of the diameter needed for the Big A-- fan . I had learned in the past to pay attention , usually purchased with, but in this case it was an obvious waste of my money.

Loved color, but had to return

Our electrician couldn't use this downrod because it was threaded at both ends, which made the ends quite a bit smaller than the rod itself. Since our fans didn't need the threads (he said most don't need them and he installs them daily) that the fan would wobble significantly, so had to return them. This downrod must be for a specific fan, not for universal use as are the ones carried in the store.

It's threaded on both ends

I hate proprietary items but the down rod included was too short. The kichler fans are threaded on both ends so I had to buy this. It works.

bought this for a kichler ceiling fan & i returned both the fan and the extension because it does not fit together. im a very handy person so it was really frustrating that it did not fit at all after waiting a week for the extension to come.

Great brand

We love this fan brand so much we brought the fan with us to our new home! Needed extension rod for higher ceilings. Very quiet fans with great motors to move air perfectly. Went to manufacturer website to get correct color match.
