Damaged
Ordered sleeve and wall unit. Wall unit had a dent on front left corner. Returned to Lowes day after delivery. Was told at the Lowes closest to my house that I had to take it to a different Lowes even though the website said it could be returned to any store. The store I returned to almost did not accept my return because the model number I ordered and paid for KSTAT08-1C did not match what was delivered and on the box KSTAT08-1D. Does not work
Does not get cold at all. Temp in room actually goes UP and everything starts feeling humid. Will not run at all in the "dry". Have contacted manufacturer customer service and have not heard back yet. Do NOT waste your money on this product.

This AC unit comes with everything that is needed to install it thru the wall except for the sleeve, of course. (sold separately) After installing it, I plugged the unit in, and I turned it on. Requires self-install or a handyman to install it.
It is attractive, quiet, and fits perfectly into our previously cut opening in the wall that was 6-7 feet above floor level. Neither Lowe's nor Air Conditioning companies will install it. If you can't install it yourself, find a good handyman company.
