What Customers Are Saying
The appliance offers versatile cooking functions including microwave, air fry, and convection oven. Many users are satisfied with its performance, size, and value. However, some found the controls and instructions confusing initially. The small interior size may also be limiting for some. Overall, the appliance provides a range of useful features at an affordable price point, though a learning curve and minor drawbacks are present.

Once I saw that manufacturers were offering an Air Fryer / Microwave combo, I started seeking one out. I researched various units from the entry level Galanz all the way to the top end Kitchen Aid. I knew I wanted countertop, around 1000W microwave power, big enough for a full size dinner plate, the Air Fry feature but also reasonable pricing. Units that met my main criteria topped out at near $1000. This Kenmore unit checked all the boxes for me. It started at $150 retail and I ended up at $79 ...

I love it!
I'm a nomad and someone who love to cook, cooking on a single burner stove got boring quickly! I bought a 700 watt microwave and a separate 1000 watt 2 qt air fryer and we'll it took up a lot of space! This is a perfect solution! It's energy efficient (I use a solar generator) take up much less space and I can bake a cake in my van if I wanted it! Living large! Lol There was some trial and error on uses but it's pretty easy to figure out. I totally recommend and I have recommended! I had to buy...

Caught fire
This microwave lasted about 10 months before it caught fire in my kitchen. It wasn't operator error and it wasn't because it was dirty. It caught fire behind the touch pad. Do not buy this.

Broken door latch
Door latch broke within 6 months, leaving us unable to open the door (even to get out the food inside). It was past the return window, and Kenmore informed us that the door/door latch was not included in the warranty so we are out of luck. I wouldn't recommend this purchase if you want a product that is going to last longer than a few months.

Good price, size, and functionality.
Nice small size and eliminates the need for a toaster oven. It does not have lighting on the buttons as at least one picture would suggest and once started there isn’t a clear way to know what mode it is in. It did not come with much of a guide, so learning the modes (bake, roast, convect, micro, air fry, micro+conv) will have to come with experimentation. Warning… One family member burnt his hand on the element for not knowing how it worked and not seeing the burner since it was below eye lev...

An affordable combination microwave.
I don't write reviews, but this is a decent microwave that has very few reviews on the entire internet. A heating element in the roof acts as an oven, and the microwave works satisfactorily. There are clearly labeled cooking modes, and the accessories to bake and air fry work well. I suspect that the combination microwave and oven cooks the best. The instructions are crap, clearly written for a previous model with inferior controls but the current setup where you choose the temperature and then ...

Works great, but control labels should be brighter
So far so good - doing what a microwave should do. One regret is that we "downsized" in power from our last microwave to get this smaller one for space reasons. Works great, but everything takes longer to cook. Only one complaint: the controls and labels are really hard to see.....would have been nice if the letters and numbers were much brighter.

See above
So far pretty good. I've been using kenmore/ ge products for years. I don't particularly care for having to check the manual for basic use of a microwave. If it stands the test of time, I'm willing to upgrade to 4 and a half stars. Good price, good service, average availability in stores. I would recommend.

horrible microwave
this microwave comes with a ton of features at a great price. unfortunately none of them work too well. the air fry mode is pretty much worthless. you literally have to reheat a slice of pizza for 2 and a half minutes to get it warm. weakest microwave I've ever had 0 out of 10, would not recommend
Small Kenmore Air Fryer/ Microwave
Doesn’t meet the quality of older microwave ovens, the buttons are not easy to read and are not lit, it is small and meant for a single person. It cooks baked potatoes, microwave popcorn, and reheats small leftovers well. It lacks instructions for use of air fryer and other accessories. Electric cord is very short.
