Keeney 4.5-in Stainless steel Rust Resistant Strainer basket

Oil bronze

Bought this very inexpensive oil rubbed bronze color sink strainer basket. Within a matter of weeks just like most of the pictures shown my basket started peeling the coating right off. Just like other reviewer‘s I did not use any harsh chemicals . I used normal soap and water. Returned the item today ,but so far I am unable to find a bronze color to match my brown color sink. So for the meantime I went with the stainless steel ,at least it holds the sink water .

Looks great at first, finish is crap

LOoks great at first finsh starts to come off in a couple of weeks, after a few months they are chrome, we are on our 4th set alll have been crap.

Peeling

I've been using my sink for a month with this product. The initial problem with this strainer is that it acts more like a stopper when properly placed. Water trickles through, making more of a mess. I have to lift it carefully. And, now, we have discovered the bronze is a coating, not dipped. It has started to peel , leaving me with a stainless steel product.

Not Recommended

Only had two weeks and bronze coating started peeling off.

Color peeling

I bought this bronze (over priced) strainer to match the hardware in my kitchen. I’ve had it maybe 3 months, and the bronze (which apparently is paint) is peeling off. A poor quality product ☹️

Black finish kitchen sink basket

Finish does not last and beginning to peel off already with only about 4 weeks use. There have been NO harsh or abrasive cleansers used and yet the finish peeling off. I do not recommend this product. This is unusual because I’m satisfied with almost all my purchases at Lowe’s but I do NOT recommend this product.

within 2 weeks of purchase and use the bronze coating has already worn off.

Oil Rubbed Bronze Kitchen Sink Basket Strainer

Since I bought a chocolate brown granite sink for my remodeled kitchen, I needed a bronze sink strainer to match my new disposal neck. After looking on line and at the other big box stores, I found this one at Lowe's. It matches and fits perfectly. My new sinks looks beautiful.
