I really wanted to enjoy this "quartz" sink. It is not like any quartz I've ever seen. There's no shine at all; rather, it's very porous and looks like cement. It also came with a defect on the front edge. I cannot get it to look white at all. It stains with everything: liquid, food, and ANY pot that touches it. I would rate the sink a five. But my installer insisted on under mounting it, and it is a shame to waste the overall look of the sink by burying under the countertop. It deserves to shine. Insist on an overmount and you will be pleased. And hopefully you can avoid. having to hire a specialty plumber to come in and change the main drain, etc. because the sink sits so much lower as an undermount for which it is not designed. I would not order this without seeing sample colors. If you order it anyway, OPEN the box as soon as you get it to check the color. Bisque looks like a baby ate sweet potatoes.

Karran sink 50/50
I had the Karran 50/50 sink placed about a month ago and so far am very pleased with the look and feel of the product. I purchased the Luster Pro cleaning solution as well to ensure the sink color and finish maintains it's healthy color and look. I purchased the concrete color and am quite pleased as I have brass colored faucet and knobs/handles so it really matches well.
