Plastic - not metal!

Specifications say it’s metal, but it’s plastic. One of the reviews says it’s stainless steel. It’s plastic. It’s exactly the same as my old one I’m trying to replace as it turned green around the edges after 3-4 months, so this will do the same (have to replace them regularly for this reason). Really disappointed. It was a bait-and-switch. I’m going to return it as it’s the same as what I already have and was a high price for it anyway.

Kohler makes a difference.

The actuator is exactly what I expected. It will go with the fixtures in the bathroom.

Kohler Brass Finish Toilet Dual Activator Switch

Beautifully crafted, precisely functioning flush activator. I use bleach tablets in my tank. The cheaper activators which came with the toilet began to exhibit green corrosion from the bleach tablet fumes. But the Kohler activators are crafted from non-reactive stainless steel and do not corrode. They also operate more smoothly and surely than the cheap plastic ones with chrome finish. I thought the Kohler activators were kind of expensive. But now that i have them installed I’m glad...

Easy to install

The directions were very clear and it was simple to install. It works well. I wish the quality of the materials was higher. The plastic looks as if it will not last long. I did order 2, in the event it breaks again.
