Great product and service

I bought this pan to replace a tub/shower combo. It was in great shape and well protected in a wooden crate. The store personnel brought it out to my car and loaded it for me - very helpful and courteous folks. Cast iron will last forever - strong, durable and attractive - I am very sstisfied with my purchase. My walk-in shower replacent looks fabulous.

Kohler Salient Cast Iron 30x60 inch shower pan.

It was made well and heavy nice and stable. The Enamal is correct and no cracks. Takes about 2 strong people to pick up so plan on having help. It is expensive but should last longer than the life time of the 1954 house.

Open and covered in dirt

Came delivered open and filthy. Had to spend an hour cleaning it!

Solid shower base with some drawbacks

This is a solid shower base that will probably outlast the house that we’ve installed it in, and so far, it cleans really well. My only issue is that there are fewer options for shower doors unless you want to drill into the cast iron which is something I’m not willing to risk. It would be great if they could make this model with the tile flange going all the way around so you could build a custom curb. Solid as a rock

I renovated my guest bathroom and was leaning toward a more economical job, but decided not to skimp. Kohler cast iron is the way to go (if you’re going to shower pan route). It’s rock solid and worth the price (ever stand in a shower made of some fiberglass/composite material? I’m willing to bet you felt that flex. Maybe the only downside is its weight. Solid base but made for shower doors

I bought this and brought it home to replace a cast iron tub which was getting difficult to step into and after looking at the edge in person and doing some more online research I had to return it. The free edge is very low and water would very easily flow over it onto the floor. This base is designed for use with shower doors. I wish the description would have made that more clear. I wanted to use a shower curtain as my bathroom is small and I didn't want it to feel smaller by installing doors...

Stunning and timeless

Installed about a year ago and it works so well. Always feels solid. Easy to clean. enameled cast iron is the best option

Awesome Fixture!!

This is a solid, expertly made fixture for stress-free cleaning and streamlined look in the bathroom. I was concerned because the fixture was delivered crated, but the porcelain was not 100% covered, but there is no damage and the handling was with care. I look forward to using our new shower soon!
