Solid shower base with some drawbacks

This is a solid shower base that will probably outlast the house that we’ve installed it in, and so far, it cleans really well. My only issue is that there are fewer options for shower doors unless you want to drill into the cast iron which is something I’m not willing to risk. It would be great if they could make this model with the tile flange going all the way around so you could build a custom curb. Solid as a rock

I renovated my guest bathroom and was leaning toward a more economical job, but decided not to skimp. Kohler cast iron is the way to go (if you’re going to shower pan route). Installed about a year ago and it works so well. Always feels solid. Easy to clean. enameled cast iron is the best option

Awesome Fixture!!

This is a solid, expertly made fixture for stress-free cleaning and streamlined look in the bathroom. I was concerned because the fixture was delivered crated, but the porcelain was not 100% covered, but there is no damage and the handling was with care. I look forward to using our new shower soon!

Great! But check it!

We got our cast iron base in before we started to remodel. We loved it! We still love it. But check the details and pull back the protective plastic film, no damage was on the protective plastic. We thought it was good. When it came time to tile and remove the film... one hole and 4 DEEP scratches that are rusted. Kohler white cast iron shower base

I was looking for a very solid base that would last decades. This is it. The 36 x 60 weighs 240 lbs and is super strong. Coating looks good and all the specs were correct. I would highly recommend.

Heavy duty

This cast iron pan was delivered crated up no damage. It’s a heavy pan so get help unloading and installing it. Looks nice!!!

Excellent shower pan

If you want the best, get a shower pan made out of cast iron, dont waste your money on plastic stuff !, you'll save many times over by doing it once.
