More money, but certainly worth it.

An excellent Kohler product!!!! Always best to invest in those parts you do not want to have to replace at a later date.

Ten years after purchase

Ten years ago I installed a pair of these valves in my home . No problems whatsoever so naturally I purchased a third for an outdoor pool shower. Granted I am a diy buyer , so I have no other valve installations under my belt. Easy install no problems

Easy install

Works great now it's done! Our contractor thought it was easy to install, and nice that it came with a little extra knob for while you're still under construction.

Disappointed

Would Not Recommend

I am not sure what Pressure-balancing is suppose to do, but if it is to keep the water from getting hot then it works great. The water gets hot at first then becomes only warm.
