It is a great looking sink overall, not too difficult to install, however I did give it 4 stars for a couple of reasons. The first reason is that it had a manufacturing flaw, it was in the very back of the sink so I was able to cover it up with the caulk line, but the sink was not flawless. The other reason is that the instructions are generic and wrong for this model, the studs that come out of the wall that the sink hangs on in the back should be 1" beyond the finished wall according to the in...

Read this before installing!
The sink looks nice, and instructions were fine, except the part where you install the hanger bolts. For starters, be sure you have a 2x6 brace behind the drywall to attach the sink to, or you may have issues if someone puts too much pressure on the sink (kids may try to climb on it). After starting the hanger bolts by hand, I attached the cap nuts & used a wrench to screw the hanger bolts into the wall to avoid damaging the threads. Where is quality control
My wife is a Kohler Company retiree and we try to stay loyal to the brand but quality control seems to be seriously lacking. I bought two of these in July of last year. When I installed the first one last year, the pedestal was too wide by half an inch and the sink wouldn't seat. I was able to return that one and replace it with one that was within specs. A year later I'm ready to install the second one and I find that the pedestal is taller in front than in back. The front is 29 1/4 inches tall...
ordering online is easier
I went to the Sanford store twice waiting for someone to help me get the item. Each time I waited for over 20 minutes than decided to go home order it online, click on curbside pickup and didn't need to wait at all. I would recommend that to any that need to buy large items.

I like the sink. The installation instructions no.
Well, there are problems with the installation instructions. Start with, it says to drill the hole for the pedestal 10" from the wall - it actually works out to about 11". More serious, all the instructions to drill 1/4" holes - but the threads require a 3/8" opening through tile... 1/4" would be about right in wood as a pilot hole, but if you tried to install on tile after making a 1/4" hole you would crack it.
