O ring rubber at bottom gone
The rubber O ring has failed again, on the strainer basket. Hohler sent me a new one lasted maybe 3 months. What is their problem. My sink is Kohler as well.

Looks The Same - Even Better! But Leaks Big-Time.
Though virtually identical to an old strainer that has finally fallen apart, it doesn't seat tightly enough to stop water from draining - despite the rubber o-ring that you'd think would make a good seal. I don't get it! I compared it in every way to my very old and reliable Kohler drain strainer. The only difference is that the old one had no o-ring. It sealed effectively with just metal to metal contact!! Why doesn't rubber of the same diameter and reach not make a tight seal???__________...

The worst
The strainer continuously leaks no matter how carefully I put it into it's receptacle. Contacted Kohler, does the same thing. Have to sit there and continue to play with it before it will seal. Our el-cheapo one on our previous sink sealed everytime.
