John Deere Z370R ZTrak 42-in Battery Zero-turn riding lawn mower

Excellent except for cheap plastic in key area

Have owned for one month. Wonderful machine cuts my 2 acre lot in one charge. However, the bottom underneath the battery is a cheap piece of plastic. It chipped and fluid drained out. Be cautious.

Make Lawn Mowing Great Again!

First off just wanna say that going from my X350 to zero turn is like going from night to day. Going all-electric is like flying to another planet. This thing is unreal and the only reason I bought it was because I couldn’t stand listening to the engine noise on my X350 tractor any more.

Steering and weight displacement bad

Steering is tight which makes navigating bends and turns difficult. The weight is uneven so back tires often spin out, tear up lawn and makes even the slightest incline challenging to mow. The power of the motor and blades is impressive.

Cuts lots of lawn a few times on a single charge!

I especially enjoy not having to go to a gas station to put a heavy 5 gallon tank in my car that smells it up. I can cut the lawn a few times then charge up the tractor in a couple of hours. Yeah...it's worth iy!

I bought this almost a month ago and I love how it cuts as well as does not take any fuel. I hope the battery lasts as long as described!

Awesome mower to fill in the gaps!

This mower is fantastic! I have a multi acre farm that has all sorts of areas that my brush hog can’t get to and this mower is perfect for it. I love the low maintenance and quiet operation, the deck adjustability is amazing, and it cuts grass very nicely. It even survived accidentally running over some fence buried in the grass. This mower is way better than my expectations!

Great mower with zero fuel and lube costs.

It replaced a gas powered jd ztrak and has all its good features plus no gas or oil maintenance. One gauge tells you about the remaining charge and another tells you exactly what is left. When it's at zero you can still power your way back to the house to charge it. With solar panels in my yard it costs me nothing for "fuel" and I'm saving on my house electric bill.. In fast mode you can turn off blades and beat the sudden rain home.

Fantastic Product - I would absolutely buy another

The electric ztrak has met and exceeded all expectations. There is plenty of charge to mow the nearly 2 acres that I mow. The charging time is as advertised - a full charge in under 6 hours. The noise levels (or lack thereof) blew me away. I can have a conversation with someone even if the mowing deck is engaged.

Great machine

I’ve had several cuts since I bought this machine. I like it very much because it’s quiet and has a very good cut quality. It does however take some getting used to. Personally I found the controls a bit too sensitive and would recommend Deere look at this as several other buyers have expressed this concern. But this does not affect my overall top rating.

Nice evolution of mowing

Love the peaceful, productive, and enjoyable work possible with this machine- exhaust free. And it mulches like a champ. We haven’t needed to rake.
