S140 48" Lawn Mower John Deere

This Mower is too cramped for the average person. The seat is loose unsteady and unable to adjust back. It smashes in to blade start. It hops in forward and reverse even at low engine speed. It has been sent by Lows to the John Deere dealer to fix. They are about to start the third week without even looking at it. I want to return thiss mower. I will buy a better one From Lowes. I have been unable to contact Lowes. They seem to have no contact for help.

2nd mower purchased at Lowes!

Its slightly used,but works great! Was repaired and seems to work as it should! 2nd mower purchased at Lowes, still using one I purchsed 10 years ago, has minor age related problems but still does the job good...hoping I have the same good lawn cutting service with my newer one!

Make sure Lowe's checks full operation of item.

Mower wouldn't run. Lowe's pushed mower onto friends trailer. When delivered, it would not start. Lowe's employee came out with new battery, saw and replaced 20 amp blown fuse, it started but when the blades were engaged it blew the fuse again. Wiring harness was improperly installed at the electromagnet, causing insulation failure leading to short. Tech fixed short and repaired head light broken wire, with my wire repair parts and tools. Reliable lawn tractor

Over my short time of owning this tractor, I've been impressed with its reliability and the speed and power in cutting my lawn. Tractor starts first try every time, and the engine has been completely trouble-free so far. Plenty of power from the V-Twin, both for mowing up and down hills as well as hauling chopped firewood. The headlights are a nice touch for when I'm mowing along the road. The electric PTO is very convenient too, though so far I've only used it with the mowing deck. The 48 ...
