It is a Name Brand that is American made. Have not used mower yet. Had a very helpful associate (Chritina Dobbins) at the Oxford, AL store.

completely unreliable
after only 5 years old stuck in first gear, able to put in back in gear then the next year once again stuck in first gear, taken to repair shop & found out this mower has a plastic trans housing which overheated & warped, overly expensive to replace trans. no more John Deere for me, who puts in a plastic trans housing, seriously?
