Great Unit for Small Rooms

This unit cools a single 400 sq ft room and could easily cool twice that area and gives my old central AC a break. The only downside is that it has 2 drain spots and condensation leaks from the intake vent.

Worked very well

I've used this for two seasons now and it has been a champion. No complaints!

Stopped Working After One Year

I purchased three of these units a little over a year ago. One suddenly stopped working. The filters are clean, it doesn't drain water and there doesn't seem to be a clog. Disappointed, I would expect it to work longer than a year.

Well right now where I’m at it just cools one spot

I liked it and it does its job cools the place off.

Garbage

It overheated after only 7 weeks and Lowes would not return our money. The website and phone number we were given from them, to collect the 1-year warranty, were far from legit. Buyer beware.

Portable air conditioner

It was larger than I imagined. I use in my bedroom with the door shut and it takes about an hour from 85 degrees to get to 70. Right away it helps and when it reaches the set temp it kicks back and only runs to maintain the set temperature. This is my first portable and I was pleasantly surprised.

Just doesn't do it.

Probably would be ok in a very small room. Not very powerful, ducting falls off easily.

Not as advertised

To qualify I have not even opened the shipping box but returning. Not as advertised I feel is appropriate for a negative review. First, not 8000BTU as advertised. Is 7000/5100. Second more important - advertised as having heater mode. It does not. I'm on a boat..space is a premium (heater built in would be great) as well as at least a bit of BTU power to reach farther areas despite being only about 18ft of interior cabin space, which reaches temps over 90F deg on sunny days midsummer NYC.
