Realtively quiet

Would Recommend

Does great job and is much quieter than previous Shopsmith dust collector used. Was assembled incorrectly at factory resulting in body of vacuum misaligned with vacuum base by 30 degrees. Had to drill new mounting holes to realign body and base. Has one leak creating small pile of dust at top of unit near inlet.

Works great as expected, easy to assemble, from my experience with other brands/makers of dust collectors I wish that this models lower collector bag was attached around the outside of the housing spigot with a quick release strap to secure it in place instead of just slipping into the inside of the housing spigot which would be a lot less messier when removing the bag to empty out the dust, particles and dust tend to collect on the top ridge/edge of the bag from as it is mounted inside the spig...
