This downrod is ideal for use in rooms with 9- to 10-foot ceilings to ensure optimal cooling performance. It is compatible with all Hunter and Casablanca ceiling fans, not including Hunter Original® ceiling fans, and is suitable for other ceiling fans that use a 3/4-inch diameter downrod.

3/4-inch diameter for strength and stability, durable steel construction, deburred interior channel to protect wires, and tapered threads for deeper engagement
For indoor use only, not to be used in damp or outdoor environments such as bathrooms and porches
For sloped ceilings greater than 34 degrees, use Hunter's Angled Ceiling Mount (Model 61706), sold separately

The perfect downrod for our slanted ceiling, allowing our fan blades to sit perfectly away from the angled ceiling.

It works OK but it’s a difficult install
Installing a blade is much more difficult than need be. You have to keep the blade aligned then try to fit the screw into the nut all while the fan is swinging and rotating and you’re in an awkward position. The remote Doesn’t work very well. It seems I have to turn the light on to get the fan going and I can’t tell what speed it’s set to. Finally, I spent a half hour trying to get it not to wobble or balancing the fan with a little improvement.
