Good thermostat

Pretty good thermostat, mostly accurate temperature! Had to replace with the same one! The temperature was off, due to trying to calibrate it, and I dropped it:(!! This one is working fine!

Horrible Inaccurate Junk

Honeywell no longer makes good products, and does not stand behind them! Temperature was always off by at least 4 degrees, sometimes as much as 6 degrees. I had it professionally installed ($160.00 wasted) Was disappointed from the first day, cycling on and off every 5 minutes, and a steady and accurate temp. setting was impossible to obtain I called Honeywell for tech advice, and they said the product had been discontinued, but Lowes is still offering it for full price. Cooling does not work, heating is fine.

This is the second one that I have bought in the past 4 months. Neither one works for the cooling. It works fine for heat, but it does not respond when I set it for air conditioning.

Bad thermostat

2.5 months and not working. Will turn on blower but not the furnace.

Misleading and Over-Engineered Product

I thought I was buying a simple, non-digital thermostat, but nowhere does it mention that this thermostat is digital. The box also doesn't say anything about needing a battery or letting a super capacitor charge up before the thermostat will work. It also doesn't mention the operating voltages. My furnace operates at 12 volts, but this thermostat requires 24 volts. They managed to make something as simple as a two-wire switch as complicated as possible. Tried and true

Works great, no programming or replacing batteries. I had Lowe’s arrange installation, and that worked out very well too.
