Terrible product

I've used an electronic lock before on my last house and figured I would try this one because of the lower price. Not a great idea. Although it was easy to install, it was extremely noisy and did not operate correctly. The instructions were fairly easy to follow, but the hardware on the instructions was not labelled correctly. Key barrel failure

We had this key for about 4 years and now the key has stopped working. Honeywell agrees it is under warranty, but requires proof of purchase. Sadly I did not save my receipt. :( Beware!

conked out after 2 weeks

installed and working great for a couple weeks. Then it rained and the thing went haywire. Uninstalled it and found moisture inside. Who builds and exterior lock that can't get wet?

Who designs an exterior lock that fails when it gets rained on?? It's nice looking and the buttons give good feedback.

Works great at first

I installed this on my parents house to make it easy for them to get in the door without keys. The handle shape works well for older hands. The lock worked great for about 6 months but over time a couple of the buttons stopped working. Of course it's the buttons that are in the code to unlock the door. I reprogrammed using a different code so we'll see how long this fix works.
