This is a generation 1 thermostat, additional sensors must be ordered directly from Honeywell. As far as I could determine there is no way to tell the generation from the packaging.

Way better than the Nest. The app is better. Buyers should note this came with a c-wire adapter. You don’t need to buy one separately. I didn’t know that and bought one because it didn’t say it came with one so I ended up returning the extra one I bought. So as a heads up you can save the $30.
