I would have not minded if this thermostat came with some mounting hardware, it came with none. Also, wire caps because I replaced a thermostat from 1976 and it had the screw down contacts for solid wire coming from the wall, while the thermostat came equipped with stranded wire and again no mounting hardware, no crimp caps or splices or anything.

Won't shut off
Turned it on, set to 40, and it has stayed heating until it was over 80. We had to just turn it off and buy a different brand. And there isn't a way to calibrate the temperature.

great basic product
Great basic thermostat for electric baseboard heat. We had 2 thermostats that went bad on us that needed to be replaced. I wanted a very basic thermostat to meet our needs being an all electric house built in 1974 it's not wired for all the new techie stuff nor do we want/need it in our house. Works, but not anywhere close to accurate
I have two of these in my open concept living room/kitchen/dining room each operating their own fan forced electric wall heater. They work, but they are wildly inaccurate. Like another poster has said, you have to set them to 80 to heat to 68 etc. At 20ish buck a piece I cannot complain to terribly. It takes forever to find the sweet spot. Spend the money and buy a cadet brand line voltage thermostat.
