Flush mount not possible for Belmar fan
The ceiling fan looked fine and was well-rated by some online sites. One reason I chose this fan was because the Lowe’s description said a flush mount was possible. Looking at the fan’s manual it states that a flush mount is NOT possible. A close mount with 4” down rod is the nearest option. That wouldn’t give me 7’ clearance so I had to return this fan. Lowe’s needs to correct their description of mounting options for the Belmar fan.
