Just as good as LED

The incandescent light string works as well as the more expensive LED strand. The LEDs tend to burn out half a string. You can usually fix this by replacing a fuse but not always. The standard incandescent bulbs do not go out in whole sections and it is easier to replace the bulbs one by one as needed,. You can even use bulbs from other incandescent sets as replacements.

Illuminating

A single larger bulb would produce as much light as all of the little bulbs. These lights were arranged sequentially along a green electrical wire. I believe this design characteristic is the primary reason for the multiple diverse points of light on my Christmas tree, which for me is a major selling point.

Incandescents get warm while LEDs do not

These incandescent strings were purchased to keep the pipes from freezing in the sub area of our mountain cabin--they get plugged into a thermostatically-controlled plug to go on automatically if the temperature dips too low. LEDs stay too cool!

Incandescent Christmas lights

These are the Christmas lights we prefer verses the LED lights. The product is great, your store no longer has these in multi colors or straight blue or green or red. Not everyone likes LED lights plus they are way more pricey

Tried to get kobalt battery for impact was on sale, the computer said they has 5 left couldn't find any, so i wasn't happy about that, so i left

Good lighting

Lowe’s is one of the few places to purchase these lights on white wire. Yes, LED saves power but the specific glowing light is just more pleasing to the eye.

Frustration with fuses

Not only are these Lowes' lowest cost string lights, these also appear to be the only string lights they stock that have white wires (white goes best with my gutters and beige steel roof, so for me that's a selling point). I bought 5 and they all lit fine for about a week, then on Christmas day 2 strands failed to light. They'd blown fuses. One spare fuse is included with each strand, so I got up on the roof to replace them. I couldn't slide the plastic fuse receptacle cover open with my finger...

Great lights

The lights work great. They are exactly what I needed and i love that I can plug in strands if lights together.

Test them before you leave the store.

They are exactly what I was searching for. They are the warm white, that have been difficult to find in the white cord.

LED Flood light D cell operated

Did not realize these were battery operated. I wanted hardwired ones. returned these so I can get the correct ones.
