For this unit the fan ran but the pump never kicked on. Ran for several hours without any water collection. Probably a bad batch but I'm not likely to try again.
On a dehumidifier with a pump the hose comes with.
I like that the pump is quiet. The last one I had with the pump was pretty noisy.
