Price is hefty, but quick availability was key during strong heat wave. Mini-split would be more cost and energy efficient, but will do in a pinch. Unit is quite large and heavy, almost like a washer or dryer, so be sure to check dimensions and weight. It’s not quiet, yet could be louder. Cools large attic skylight windows with cathedral roof ceilings pretty fast; runs non-stop to try to keep up with Mother Nature. Room temp would have been close to 100 degrees without the unit. The unit i was given from the store associate was the wrong model. The one they gave me doesnt have the heating feature. Will never buy again online from this store.
Practically Whisper Quiet!
We aren't new to portable AC units. We've had them in the past. This one is surprisingly quiet! It even has a movie setting where it'll get even quieter if necessary! Very nice! And installation was fast easier than our past unit. And using my phone to control it is super convenient! Loving this thing so far!

Guess it was pregnant..it's water broke
Worked great for cooling over the Summer for the home gym, been using it as a heater this Fall for the past month or so and all of a sudden it threw an error message of E5 in the middle of a workout. Then I looked down and saw water all over my new gym floor. When I attempted to move it, it kept leaking water everywhere. Not out of the drain, but from everywhere else. Too heavy to lift up and look underneath. I wish I would have had 3 years before it broke down, but I just bought it last July ...

This unit was easy to operate and install. I was very impressed with the performance of a unit this size. We are considering purchasing an additional unit soon.
