Exceeded Expectations!

I purchased this unit to temporarily cool a lounge in my business after the main air conditioning system failed. The area is slightly larger than what the unit is recommended for, but it has been functioning well and is quieter than I anticipated. Setting it up was easy, and it came with all the necessary parts, including a vent tube. The remote control works effectively, and the settings are simple to use and understand.

The heat was intolerable and we decided to try Lowes. This was perfect for our apartment. This portable AC unit was easy to assemble cools our room quickly. The remote and wifi capability allows us to manage the automatic on and off features to give the area time to cool and shuts off when no needed.

Works great when weather is below 92 degrees

Works great but not when weather is at 100 degrees in Anaheim . I have 190 square feet living room. I close door from kitchen and bedroom and still warm . I just bought 10,000 portable ac with dual vent hose and makes living room and bedroom cool.

This ac got me out of a jam when my ac went out In 100 degree heat easy for anyone to install. I feel good about having a back up ac Yeah

Does not cool FAILS

80° outside. 250 ft.² room. AC set at 62° indoor temperature 81°. You do the math. If the temperature falls into the 60s like it does at night this AC will begin to cool the room but generally not below the outdoor temperature. This unit is a failure do not buy. Return policy is 48 hours. Not long enough.

Stopped working

Used a total of 12 times. had it running for 3 days during this past heat wave and it just completely stopped working. it won't even turn on anymore.

Solid Unit, but at this price it should be better.

Positives 1. does a great job at keeping a ~150 sqft room cool to the exact temperature you set it to, which is its primary purpose. 2. I am impressed that there is no drainage needed. Negatives: 1. The unit is a bit louder than expected. 2. It is really large. 3. The window gap fillers are incredibly thin, uninsulated, and have a lot of small gaps. This unit was talked up by the associate so I purchased it. If you do, buy the extra warranty, HISENSE customer support is a nightmare. They talk you around in circles, don’t really answer your questions and don’t care. They tell you the same edited response over and over. Purchased the unit in early August 2025.
