Research carefully the low frequency acoustic rumble problem. Even Low mode for me is too loud. It does cool exceptionally well IMO. Setup is easy and quality build. Might work for example in a game room with televisions on and other ambient noise.
Not worth it
I’ve had the AC for 2 weeks and it’s already giving me problems. I don’t know why but it won’t go any lower than 77 and I’ve tried to use the remote and it does nothing. Definitely do not recommend
it doesn't cool!
This is the second unit we got from Lowes and it didn't last a year. I used my warranty to get a new one since my first one stopped working 6 months after we bought it. It runs well if the temperature is 75 and below. We having 100 plus temp and it keeps shutting down through a code. Filter is clean and drain hose is clean. Don't waste your time with this unit.

Good idea not a great product
This did a good job cooling for the first couple months then has me worked well sense. The heater never worked at all. Don’t waist your time on it.

Purchased portable AC and right out the box unit would default to heat mode. Took the unit back and Lowe’s couldn’t assist me because my purchase was over 48hrs, I was told to contact Hisense since it was under their one year warranty even though I purchased a extended warranty from Lowe’s.
