Screw is fine. It is brass so you have to predrill to avoid stripping the head. I have used about 1/2 the package and no issues

I buy these screws every year to assemble a wooden sleigh for Christmas. I use the brass screws because they show brightly on the Hunter Green paint of the sleigh. Why do I buy them every year, because where ever I put them when I disassemble the sleigh, I cannot find them foir the next season.

Don't use these for anything except decorative use. It broke off when being screwed by hand into wood, in a pre-drilled hole.
