You are basically getting a custom look for a fraction of the price. People have left bad reviews because it doesn’t come with the roof but they just need to read before clicking the buy button. I really enjoyed working on this Gazebo. The instructions were very easy to understand. I also liked the fact that the columns were hollow. The fact that they were hollow allowed me to use J-Hooks, all-thread, washers and bolts to tie each post down to the footers from the top of each post. Misleading

I paid a couple thousand dollars for a building which appeared, from the picture, to be a complete building. It was not until the building was paid for and unloaded that I realized none of the roofing materials came with the building - no shingles, no felt, no drip edges. Once all of the missing roofing materials are purchased, this pavilion is not such a good investment after all. Poor manufacturer customer service.

Product finally showed up after a couple of missed delivery times. The box had been punctured on the bottom of the skid by a forklift resulting in taking a corner off one of the support posts. I called the manufacturer and was asked to send in pictures and a copy of the sales order. One week later I heard back that they were finally going to ship my replacement post but to date it has still not shown up. If it doesn't show by the end of the week, this is going back.

Questionable Service After The Sale

I purchased a gazebo manufactured by Sun Joy in March 2020 (@$800) thru Lowe’s. After 2 years, I noticed some tears in the canopy and inquired about a replacement canopy. It took several weeks for me to receive a response fron Sun Joy and was informed that a replacement canopy was “ou of stock” also, they could not assure me that it would be available… ever! Great value and great design.

Very well engineered and absolutely beautiful when finished. I was able to pre-assemble all of the components myself. You do need a helper on assembly day, but only for a couple of hours to help hold the beams steady while you tie everyone together and also to help with the roof panels. Arrived in late Sept, I put it together in spare time over 4-5 weeks. Just do one step at a time... but in the end it really comes together perfectly. At times you need 2 people. Most can be done by 1. The roof felt and shingles... it is tricky to be up on this roof and a lot of shingle cutting, so be aware of that. Everything is cedar, including the roof frames and roof plywood, makes it really nice when you're under it. But now I'm done and I will simply sit below it and enjoy not being in...

Wood crack

Be warned. It looked good initially but after a couple of days of rain I noticed a very long crack in one of the posts splitting the board from top to bottom. I am very disappointed after such a large investment that it is already breaking down after a couple of months. I will be reaching out to the manufacturer to see what can be done.
