Do not purchase
We purchased this in November. The pilot light would constantly go out and the burners eventually just quit working as well. Large combustion flames when it would randomly come on. I called and emailed the hearth and home multiple times with zero luck. Unanswered voicemails, emails, and empty promises to return calls from their “engineers”. We finally returned it before our return policy was expired. Lowe’s and their associates were great however the Hearth and Home made a poor product and poor ...
Delayed ignition and pilot light goes out
Bought unit brand new from Lowes and set up and had gas company hook it up. Delayed ignition happened right away as well as pilot light going out every 2 or 3 days . Called customer service which is suppose to be so great but no one answered and as of 2 weeks later still nothing. Its a shame because the unit is very attractive and seems to be made well other then several people having issues with pilot light and delayed ignition.
Attractive unit,Poor quality log set
The first one we purchased came with broken controls. Returned that one and had a second delivered The pilot goes out frequently due to poor ignition resulting in a large fireball which subsequently blows out the pilot. The screen makes an annoying buzz when the blower is running. The thermostat has a wide range, the fireplace lights at 67 degrees and goes off at 72. For me this means that I’m chilled by the time it lights and overheated by the time it shuts off. I like the appearance and th...
Issues with delayed ignition
I purchased this fireplace in October and had to wait several weeks for my propane supplier to hook the unit up. Once that was completed, we noticed an issue with the manifold being delayed to ignite, so much that a large combustion fireball would roll out of the front. Also, appears to be an issue with the thermostat control. Once lit, it will burn normally until the desired temperature is reached, however, once it has kicked off and calls for heat again, it does not light immediately and I ...
pretty and heats great
My son and a friend put it together for me and he said it was easy. It heats up my 16x40 great room very quickly. I think its cery pretty too.
Beautiful Fireplace And Easy To Install!
We bought the Wintercrest Hearth and Home Dynamics fireplace at Lowe's late September. We absolutely love this fireplace and the company who built it!We put the mantle together fairly quickly but we had to also install all new copper tubing/for propane gas lines for our home we moved into on June 25 of this year. My husband did most of the work himself but I helped as much as I could. LOWE'S at that time didn't have the blower fan in stock yet for our fireplace. I called Hearth and Home Dynamic...
