Ratings may include incentivized customer reviews.
The ceiling fan received mostly positive reviews, with customers praising its performance, quiet operation, and easy installation. Many found it suitable for small to medium-sized rooms, providing effective cooling and bright lighting. However, a few customers reported issues such as a broken light, incorrect color, and noisier than expected operation. Overall, the fan appears to be a quality product that works well for most users, though a small number had less positive experiences.

I purchased about 6 months ago and just got around to installing it. I found it to be a real pain because the instructions do not tell you how to wire the fan if the ceiling box has different color wires, and in my case one extra wire. I had to turn to the internet to figure out why it would not work after I installed it. I did figure it out after a few different wiring tries. One of the screws holding the light kit on was stripped, and one light shade was broken in the box. I called for a new s...
Great fan, unless it stinks
I bought two of these fans--one for my kitchen and one for my teen son's bedroom--to replace existing ceiling fans. Installation was typical for a ceiling fan and I am pleased with the fan's quiet performance and bright lighting. Unfortunately, the fan installed in my son's bedroom stinks to high heaven of motor oil. (The fan in the kitchen smells fine.) From reading online, I have learned that this is an atypical but not unusual problem. Sleeping for hours in this odor as it burns off can't be ...
great fan
We bought this fan to replace one already in our kitchen. Our kitchen gets very hot in the summer time when we cook with the oven. Since installing this fan we have seen a huge difference and is so much cooler in the kitchen and adjoining areas.
Lasted two years
Last two years and fan speed control no longer works correctly. Of course the product is no longer available on lowes. Some day maybe lowes will start selling quality products that last. Replacement light housing $25, not bad… shipping $36, you’re joking!
Screws threaded in too toghtly
When we reached final installation We discovered that the 10 screws that the fan blades attached to were screwed in too tightly by the manufacturer. We then had to disassemble everything to use a flat head to try to remove them. When that failed, we had to buy penetrating oil to put under the screws and let it sit for a couple of days before trying to remove again. Some screws were ruined in the process.
The fan saga
Considering that this was sold to us as new, but when taken out of the box, was obviously used and returned, I can't say that I was pleased. In the end, Lowe's made it right, but it was a huge aggravation.....we bought two other fans at the same time and they both had parts missing....so once again....it was a huge aggravation, but Lowe's made it right. If I had it to do over again, I guess I would have done it differently, just to avoid the hassle. A cautionary note for anyone buying at Lowe...

Clicking
I bought and had an electrician install three Harbor Breeze Centerville 42" 5-blade Antique Brass Flush Mount Indoor Ceiling Fans with Light Kits (item 732082, model 41239), from Lowe's of Monroeville, Pa. After a few days of using the fan, I heard an annoying clicking sound from one fan. I removed the fan and found what appears to be a white strip of 1/4" wide by 1.5" long piece of paper or plastic protruding from two pre-assembled sections of the fan's motor. I returned the fan to Lowe's and r...
Quiet??
Unit was quiet for the first few months then started a light hum that was bearable and what id heard from other fans. However, it now sounds like the fan wants to come off of the ceiling. There are no wobbles or anything. Just a nasty noise from the motor.
Nice Ceiling Fans
Great fans installing was not pleasant , can’t put the blades on till after base is mounted. Installed and got everything tightened and still have a rattle type noise that can be quite aggravating , not much I can do about it except take it apart and over tighten which I’m not going to do , overhead work isn’t pleasant. Other than that great looking product . And so far is performing well , if not for the noise I’d given 5 stars.
MikeBTn,

Perfect fan for small room
We are upgrading the ceiling fans in our home since the fans we have were placed in the home during building back in 2002. The ones we have a super huge and extremely large and really do not cool the areas, even though the rooms they are in are small. I explained to our Lowes specialist what I wanted and he was spot on on the appearance and blade span. The assembly was rather easy once we figured out we were assembling newer versions instead of the old. We loved it so much, we immediately went b...
