This cordless metal shears runs on Dewalt 20V Max batteries (battery not included) and is powered by a 600-watt brushless motor delivering up to 3500 cuts per minute for fast, efficient sheet metal cutting. The 360-degree rotating head lets you cut straight lines, curves, and circles without repositioning the workpiece. Compatible batteries include DCB200, DCB201, DCB203, DCB204, DCB205, and DCB206. The tool handles a wide range of materials including mild steel up to 2.0mm (18 gauge), stainless steel up to 1.0mm (20 gauge), carbon steel up to 1.2mm, aluminum up to 2.0mm, plastic up to 2.0mm, and steel tiles up to 1.5mm. Cuts leave smooth, burr-free edges for cleaner finished work. Built-in safety lock button and forward/reverse controls add an extra layer of operator protection. The ergonomic non-slip grip reduces fatigue during extended use on the job site or in the shop.
