What Customers Are Saying
The Greenworks cordless snow shovel is a powerful and effective tool for clearing snow from decks, walkways, and other hard-to-access areas. It is easy to use and assemble, with a long battery life. However, some users find it to be a bit heavy and front-heavy, which can make it tiring to operate for extended periods. A few customers also experienced issues with missing or incompatible parts, especially with renewed/refurbished models. Overall, the majority of reviews are positive, with customers praising the shovel's performance and value.
Customer review summary generated by AI, including incentivized reviews.Bulky and uncomfortable
Bulky without wheels and snow throw deflector. This thing is heavy and almost impossible to use for over a few minutes die to bulkiness and the design that put the battery at the top of the shaft.

Better than shoveling
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased this snow thrower in 12/3/25 and got to use in on 2/1/26. it does a great job of throwing the snow, unfortunately it throws most of the snow in front of you and not off to the side. it helped that the wind was blowing when i used it

Safety concern
Safety concern: While the Greenworks snow shovel has good power, the trigger design is a serious safety issue. If your finger slips off the trigger or the shovel slips out of your hands, the motor continues to run instead of stopping immediately. This creates a dangerous situation, especially in slippery winter conditions. A dead-man safety switch or automatic shutoff should be standard on a tool like this.

It is a beast!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Had my 1st real test on 9" snow yesterday. I was super happy how it took to the snow and cleared my 50' driveway. The battery didn't last as long as I thought, but on the flipside, it was going well beyond on the 6" snow level on the tech. page.

Battery life terrible
My battery life lasts 10 minutes then recharge takes 30 minutes. It works well for 10 minutes. Very disappointing greenworks supplies a battery this substandard.
