Tape won’t retract
Could not get the tape to retract at all. I had around 50 feet out and got maybe 5 feet put away and then it stopped. Anyone have a clue?
Broke Almost Instantly.
Bought this to,help out with trailer re-wiring. Got it home, pulled it out, fished the wires through and it wouldn’t retract. So,I,pulled a bit more out…wouldn’t retract. Tried to pull it all out…locked up tight. Yes, I have the locking mechanism off. Now I’m stuck with 40 feet of fiberglass fish tape I need to toss in the back of my truck to return.
the steel one is worse
Uncoiled the steel one half way once. At least 6 ft hanging out and the coil is bursting out of the case which is preventing anymore from being coiled.
Tape Jammed -- I Fixed it
Previous Review -- I fixed the unit----Ok, so the Tape rod was out of track is reason Tape would not slide back in. Took Cover off to put tape back into TRACK
Fishing Tape back into unit
Ok, so - can't get the tape to go back into unit - yes, the lock is unlocked. Am I missing something?
