After the materials in your original composting bin begin to break down, move them to an attached add-on bin and start fresh with new materials in the first bin. A system of one Greenes Composting Bin and two add-on kits will keep your composting process moving seamlessly. Composed of 2 posts, 18 boards, and 30 spacers, this kit assembles with only a rubber mallet.

Easily expandable: composters can be connected together to create the design you need Corner posts are routed on all four sides for easy assembly and expansion

Not using it as a compost holder but t wrap around my AC unit to keep my dogs from peeing on the unit. The sides just droop down and I’d love for two extra posts or a way to order them. It’s doing what I bought it for. I’ll figure out how to secure the open sides.

This kit is not able to be constructed like the photo- Lowe’s could title this better as an Add-On, but people will probably continue to buy it based on the photo which looks like a 3-sided bin. The box included instructions CLEARLY state this is an add-on and cannot be constructed without a previous purchase, but this is missing in Lowe’s description. Don’t waste your time like I did.

Not what I expected.

Would Not Recommend

After putting together, I don’t believe it will last long. The dove tail dowels won’t last , maybe in furniture but this isn’t furniture.
