Great Quality Product

While a pricier option for my budget, DIY roof replacement, I believe it was worth it. I went cheaper on the shingles and decided to go more upscale on the underlayment, and so far, it's working out beautifully.

Easy Install- easier with 2 people

This product was heavy to pick up, but super easy to install once you get the flow of it. Easier to do with a two man set up onto stick down one to pull the roll. Sticks on great and water proof. Used this for a shed build, and decided to do the whole roof in it to water proof it, worth buying and installing for peace of mine

Lowe's needs to do much better

I love this product but unfortunately the last time I bought it the entire pallet was soaking wet and crushed. Literally every box was so wet that it would disintegrate when you tried to lift it, water logged so badly that it would run out of the box. No one at Lowes seemed to really care and downplayed the fact that the product was in a terrible condition. No matter how good a product is if the way it's stocked compromises it, it's of no good to me.

Comes up short

The 36’ roll purchased came with 30’ of product. Resulted in me having to outlay another $180 for the 6’ of product I needed(because only a larger roll was available. Now I have 69’ of product I don’t have use for. Online video installation is decent. Product sticks to everything and is unforgiving. Not a one person application. Going over roof vents was not shown in the installation video. Keeping the product flat while going over the vents was a problem. Would have been easier with ano...

Just enough

This is a step up weather seal. Does anyone use tar paper anymore ? But I didn't need a full roll and the expense. Had a little bit left when done.

Bad batch

I’ve used this product many times in the past, and it stuck to everything it touches. The latest batch did not stick at all. Tried warming it up with a heat gun and it helped to at least stick to the roof deck. Not sure if we received a bad batch, or the formula change, but I would not buy again

Good material, poor product

The rubber membrane is great but packaged very poorly, which makes it almost impossible to use. I recently watched their official installation video and was completely turned off by their self-congratulatory tone. The video shows a team of five working on a flat roof in perfect temperature conditions (cool/cold weather). The paper, in the video, comes off almost by itself. That's not real life! The truth is that one person cannot do it alone, as they claim, unless he/she works with strips that ...

No longer stocked in the store. Why?

This is an excellent product. I only needed one square to complete a job. This box is a little over a square. At 30 pounds, it is easy to carry up a ladder. There was no waste (with regards to I&W shield) on my job site. This product is a non mineralized product. I prefer a non mineralized product. Lowe's used to stock this product in the store. Now it is only available (from Lowe's) on-line. Why? Lowe's price was a good price. It is difficult to install in hot weather. Install in the morning.

WORTHLESS

Unless you are putting this on a low slope roof pitch (4 or less), unless you have five guys helping install it, unless you are using small pieces like 6 feet long, this stuff is a complete disaster. It is flimsy and extremely hard to work with. Folds on itself and sticks together. You will end up wasting half the roll. Never buying this garbage again.

GREAT PRODUCT

We have now put this on 2 big sheds with metal roofs over it. It is very nice to work with, and it gives your roof a seal before the final roof goes on. Self-sealing around protrusions was sweet!
