I’ve been using these Yale/Nest locks for years on our primary residence and they have been magical. Very easy to let kids or workers in the house while have the ability to monitor security from the app. I recently purchased 3 more for an investment property out of state and the ease of installation and peace of mind we have by limiting access is phenomenal. I highly recommend these locks.

Upgraded

I purchased this lock to replace the previous yale lock that I had. I want to be able to have access to my lock from my phone. Installation was easy. I used the video instructions provided and had it replaced in able twenty minutes. It was easy to set up the app and separate pin codes for each of my family members.

Purchase only if you have money to waste!

I expected much better quality from Yale. As shown in the photo, the glossy front screen scratches incredibly easily under normal use. The plastic surface is now covered with visible scratches and scuff marks, making what should be a premium-looking smart lock look old and damaged. What makes this even more frustrating is that the scratched screen serves no purpose other than aesthetics, yet once it's damaged there's no practical way to restore it. Software issue not covered

Purchase at your own risk. Mine stopped working. Come to find out I was a week out of warranty but it’s a software problem. Nothing I did but I’ m out of luck because it’s not under warranty. Totally unfair given it’s a software issue nothing I did. I’m replacing my whole system

Worst key lock entry EVER!!!! impossible to connect through 7 different apps, none of them work together, 5 different people who are extremely tech savvy tried to connect it and was not able to connect- way more complicated then it is worth. Terrible product!!!
