Remote will not work

This ceiling fan works everything through the remote. Packaged instructions on syncing the remote were followed and even after checking batteries and wall power for potential problems the fan remains non- responsive to the remote. Only product support contact seems to be by email...no response. Googled trouble shooting for Gleam Flare ceiling fan and tried all recommendations. Nothing. Going to have to return this. Very frustrating.

Little underwhelming

Bought this for a room that I wanted some moody lighting to. Got a bit too much the bulb that comes with it is quite weak especially if you have dark painted walls. Was a little disappointed to see there is no option to wire the fan separate from the remote unit and also no way to wire it to a double wall switch (one for light and one for fan).
