GearLocker shortcomings

Packaged nicely and arrived in good condition. I am disappointed with height of the GearLocker, it is smaller than anticipated. I am also disappointed that it cannot be ordered without the Casters. I plan to hang the cabinet from the wall with the rest of my cabinets. Also the price seems high in comparison to the other tall cabinet iterations.

Design Flaw or Poor Assembly

There are magnetic strips inside the top and bottom rails of the door frame. They are intended to hold the cabinet doors closed. They only stick in place with some glue on the backside of the strip, so in reality, opening the door pulls the magnets loose from their place. There are a few screws behind them, that keep the glue from providing a firm hold. If you open both doors at the same time, the magnet comes with them, forcing you to replace the magnet each time. Great garage storage solution

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The premiere line gear locker is well designed and well made. Having had both ready to assemble and pre assembled Gladiator products I can say you can’t go wrong with either option

Not worth the aggravation.

Ordered two cabinets. One arrived without hardware for the casters. Waited two weeks for hardware, they sent the wrong bolts, so went to store and bought my own. The other cabinets arrived with the magnetic closures unsecured and de-magnetized. Waiting for replacements. The Gladiator logos are different on each cabinet, odd. A solid product but it will be a month after delivery until fully assembled. Quality control is not a priority with this brand, especially at this price point.

I have order numerous premier pieces over the years. This one did not seem to have the same quality. Right door did not fit properly, even after I tried adjusting,. Not sure if quality has gone down or if it was not QC'ed.
