Peeling paint in cold
I painted my steel garage doors with Giani wood look paint. Follow the instructions to a T. They turned out beautiful. As soon as winter hit the paint peeled terribly. Talk to the manufacturer they suggest that I sand the pealing spots repaint they did supply me a new paint kit. I not only sanded the doors I put a very good primer on them second time around. Good concept, flawed implementation
Used this paint to transform my garage door from a boring white to a stunning dark wood finish. I love that this kit includes drop clothes, painter’s tape, roller, brush and gloves to make it as turnkey as possible. The instructions were easy to follow at first and I successfully used the brush and roller to put on the primer. Unbelievably Realistic
This product is insane. If you're willing to take the time and do it right, it will pay off greatly. I used the red oak, primed it the day before. I decided to use the brush instead of the hand mit which was probably the best decision I could have made. Saw a lot of complaints about the mit breaking down. The brush takes longer, but it looks WAY more realistic in my opinion. This is only one coat! I used the second coat to add wood accents throughout. Second coat makes it MUCH darker so be caref...
