Looks great, easy to install, especially if you have developed woodworking skills. When you cut the product you need to paint the cut surface with the matching paint. There is an expansion and contraction issue. With temps in the 80’s and above the joints are tight. When temps go to 0 or so the joints open by about a 1/4 in.

Very easy to deal with.
The panels and corners are very easy to cut and finish. Installation is a piece of cake. To hide the screws on the front panels is very easy to do it. You don't have to be a pro on construction. Price is very affordable compare to real stones. I'm already planning some other projects with Genstone.

We stuccoed our home a year ago and had some pop-outs added so we could add some stone. It took us a year to finally decide what product to use. We used the Coffee Stacked Stone to cover the old ugly concrete foundation around our house and we couldn't be happier! It was easy to install and super easy to handle. The measuring tool on the website was perfect (except I forgot to add the corner pieces but a quick call to customer service remedied that situation and we had them a few days later and were able to complete the project quickly!) I highly recommend this product and this company - everything was first rate and top quality.

Homeowner Installation
This product is very user friendly, light weight, and looks like real slate/shale/sandstone. I prepared the wall, by removing the original siding, placing tyvek paper and taping the seams for about one hour. The next day, I installed the Genstone product (about 4 hours) to the porch walls with just 1 5/8" decking star screws and placing the sealant in the requested areas. See for yourself in the photos. Any homeowner can install this!

So Easy - Instant Upgrade!
I wanted to spruce up the kid’s playhouse and so I only needed a couple of sheets of the stone. It made it look instantly better. I just used a backsaw to cut the pieces- no special tools needed. I’ll attach a before and after so you can see.
