swallows propane tanks whole
This may a great but for a covered patio but for an open deck it is a waste of propane. The product operates fine but we have to turn it up to it's highest level to get warm. then our heads get too hot. Propane is gone in four to five evenings. I have to protect it from rain, so I am constantly moving it.
Only Functioned for one season
Bought this heater in 2018. Worked great. Lots of enjoyable time. Stores covered in the garage. Carried it back out pool side. Worked one time. Pilot lights but won’t swap over to run. Once it did it ran Then quit after 10 minutes . I ordered a new thermo coupler and tip switch combo. I guess I’ll see if they solves the issue. Otherwise trash can here it comes.

Lasted a little more than one season
Used it twice, then next season it won't stay lit, probably the thermocouple has already failed. Kept it out of the weather and was barely used. Don't waste your money on this one!

Doesn't last long.
The safety features quickly wear out and render the unit unusable. Replacement is difficult. Would not recommend. The fire still lights but quickly turns off.

Lasted only 2-1/2 years. Bad thermocouple. No Good
Makes good heat but dont expect it to last. After 2-1/2 years of little use (a few times each spring and fall) the thermocouple failed. I called for parts and they are not available. Bottom brown painted metal rusted badly too. All screws rusted bad too. Went to Lowes today and purchased similar stainless patio heater. It has a different thermocouple now but parts book shows you must purchase entire top head, may as well figure on purchasing a new heater every 2-3 years. My new stainless steel...
4 months in and rusting all over
My previous patio heater purchased from Lowe’s lasted over 10 years with little to no rust at all. This patio heater began rusting after two months outside. All of the screws have rusted and the lower cowl has now begun to rust. I’m beyond disappointed with the quality of this product. I would not recommend this patio heater to anyone.
