Classic look. Soft warm glow.
Solid cast aluminum build. Dome is plastic. Battery/solar working working well out of box. Exterior button to adjust between two brightness settings, or turn off. Casts enough of a dim glow to be useful over a 20ft diameter or so. Unless staring directly at the bulb, the light is soft and warm. Don’t expect it to “illuminate” your front yard. It’s just enough light to illuminate a walking path. Purchased base separately to mount to top of 6x6 post.

Stylish, Well-Made, Solid
The unit comes almost fully assembled in a larger than expected box. Good instructions and easy installation on a standard 3" round post, which we already have in place. We switched to solar after an animal chewed through the ground wire somewhere between the house and the post. No use digging up the whole flower bed. Batteries should last a couple years before replacing for around $35. The bulb is special and must be ordered through Gama Sonic. They through in two solar powered keychain flash...

Very nice looking solar light. Antique looking light which goes well with our Tudor style home as a driveway light. Took off the basketball backboard and painted pole satin black. Looks great with a nice light in two brightness settings.
