After 11 months, the fridge stopped cooling and the freezer went into the ice age. After 2 weeks of that, it stopped working altogether. Tried to use the 12 month warranty; Galanz customer service did everything in there power to not fix it. Horrible product, horrible experience! Don't buy Galanz!
Absoultely Terrible
This fridge is cute as a button, but don't waste your money. We bought it a year ago and about a year into it's life, the gaskets started failing, so that the fridge was too warm and the freezer was on overdrive. About a month later, now the fridge doesn't work at all (it's literally room temperature according to my instant-read thermometer) and the best part is, Galanz will not send out a service person for this model of fridge, so there's no way to fix it. Bought an extended warranty through Lowes for a 12 cubic foot Galanz fridge- turns out it is useless because the fridge is built in a way that it cannot be repaired without cutting through it. Didn’t last a year. Manufacturer claims they cannot repair it is because it is “too small”. You have to mail in the plug and stickers to get a refund in 8-10 weeks. MOST DARLING FRIDGE
It just arrived and it truly is the perfect little fridge!!! So retro seamlessly fits the style of my kitchen. Pulls the room together. I can’t comment on function yet as I just plugged it in but Lowe’s was the only company that would delivery this item in home. All the others were curbside. Delivery was delayed a week but otherwise timely and professional. It arrived in mint condition.
