faulty wiring. stopped working & took out our GCFI
The microwave worked initially, but one day (about three months in), all of our kitchen outlets stopped working. We had to call an electrician and they sourced the problem to this microwave. They found that the microwave's cord was wired in a faulty manner and it made the cord overheat which eventually caused the GCFI outlet it was plugged into to fry. It cost $200 for the electrician to troubleshoot and fix the outlet. And, of course, the $80 microwave has to be scrapped and replaced. Buy...
