Bulb Exploded

Our house was built in 2021 and these are the bulbs the builder used in our kitchen. The light had been off most of the day today & it just exploded. No reason why. The builder left 5 packs (10 bulbs) of these & now hesitant to use them. I’ve been reading other posts that this is not uncommon. It’s unfortunate because they look very nice.

Vintage and Modern All in One

I have wanted to try these "smoke" colored bulbs for a long time, and I finally had a need to replace a bulb in a custom lamp I built for my office. I previously had a warm vintage style bulb that gave off a golden glow. This bulb captures a vintage flair through the exposed filament and bulb shape, but the light and smoke tint on the bulb gives it a cleaner more contemporary look.

Not bright at all

We were looking for a bright white, but vintage bulb style. This is NOT it! It's very dull. Would not recommend, especially if walls have been painted a dark color. We will be returning for something else.

Exactly what I wanted!!

I just replaced all my light fixtures and chandeliers and was simply looking to brighten up my place. LED Daylight bulbs give me a headache because the are just SO bright and amber color is what I’m getting away from so when I ran across these at Lowe’s I was sooo excited. I’ll post a photo of the vintage bulbs still in my chandelier but replaced with the smoke finish bulbs in my pendant light. You can see the difference. The photo was taken in the evening. Going to buy more today!!

Dangerously poorly made

I bought 2 sets of these to hang in my kitchen pendant lights. Found they seemed to not want to turn on for some reason, and then one of the bulbs had the glass detach and fall onto the counter below, shattering and spreading glass shards everywhere. I then removed the others as they seemed dangerous, and had one of them break, with the outer glass detaching completely from the base as I unscrewed it. I’ll be returning them all tomorrow.

This bulb is great for a low light area. Not too bright, not too dim. Just right.

Exploding bulbs

Installed these bulbs in a light fixture because other 60w bulbs were too bright. Within minutes of installing one bulb exploded with the light fixture turned off. As we were cleaning up the mess another exploded! Quickly removed the 3 other bulbs in the light fixture. Reinstalled another brand with no issues. These are very dangerous and need to be recalled immediately!

Although not a bright light, needed to replace same bulb on a rental kitchen sink pendent.

Pretty Light Bulbs

I'm using these light bulbs with an open cage ceiling fan and they look really great even when the lights aren't on because of a gray ombre effect on the glass. The light produced is a soft daylight, not very intense, but enough for me to see at night.
