What Customers Are Saying
The GE Supreme Silicone Caulk is reported to be easy to apply, dry quickly, and create a strong, durable seal. It is praised for its ability to accommodate movement and expansion without cracking, making it suitable for bathrooms and kitchens. Several reviewers note it is effective at preventing mold and moisture. However, some customers were disappointed that the "clear" version did not actually dry clear, but rather had a white or cloudy appearance. A few reviewers also experienced issues with the caulk drying up or becoming too thick before use.
Customer review summary generated by AI, including incentivized reviews. The General Electric brand Supreme Silicone Caulk was the best product that I have tried over many months. The reasons being are that, first, it came in a larger than the smaller (2.8 ounce) size kitchen and bathroom sealant, and fit in my standard size caulking gun. Second, it dried enough for me to take a shower only 30 minutes later. And third, it was hard enough to hold the glass panels and shower door to fully operate, after drying overnight.

Does Not Resist Pink Mold
I purchased GE Supreme 100% Silicone/Waterproof Kitchen & Bath sealant 4 months ago, applied it the same day to the inside seams around our shower stall. Three months later, the sealant had a pink mold growing on it. After scrubbing the surface mold off with a bathroom cleaner and scrub brush, the mold had clearly penetrated the sealant. Never had this problem removing pink mold from the old sealant. Avoid using in shower stalls.. Love doing projects twice...NOT!

The almond color is basically white. I assumed it would be tan or almond colored. Was not.
