Very powerful, and fits perfectly in my little window. My room is 20 x 20, but a little bigger because it has higher ceilings, and this cools it amazingly. Install was easier than my last one. Works with my alexa through using the smart hq app. Great unit!

died after 14 months....
Thankfully i bought the warranty from Lowes and was able to get a gift card to replace this. Started to make a very loud clicking sound that correlated with the fan speed. It did that for a few months and then just died. Wouldn't turn on, wouldn't cool....nothing.

Installed unit for our livingroom and its much quiet compared to our old unit in the bedroom. Cooled our livingroom in a few minutes, I like the fact you can download the app and control unit through your phone and monitor power usage.

Works better than expected for my house
Needed a new one my 3 year old one stopped cooling from another brand. The other brand never cooled my house down as well as this one. The old one was set at 67 never cooled like this one haven’t had to set this one below 71.

Is the Lowes Protection Plan worth it? AND they do come out to your home to fix the window units, right? You don't have to ship it to them for repair, right? Does GE come to your home or send a new unit for the 1st year during the GE warranty?
